Showdown in the south

Age cut off April 1st (ex: if a child turns 11 after April 1st, they can play 10u) No defensive restrictions, weight limit for each age group only for ball carriers, anyone over the weight cannot advance the ball. Kicking is different for each age group. Check your age group to see complete rules and weight limits. All games will be played by TSAA or high school rules except the following

6U – No Live Kicks. The ball will be placed on the 30 yard line to begin. Punts will be marked off by an official at 25 yards. If the punt is inside the 20 yard line it will be brought back out to the 20 yard line. Two coaches are allowed on the field. Weight limit for ball carriers is 90 lbs.

7U – Same Rules as 6U, weight limit 115 lbs for ball carriers.

8U – Same rules as 6U, weight limit 115 lbs for ball carriers

9U – Same rules as 6U, weight limit 115 lbs for ball carriers. No coaches allowed on the field

10U – No live kickoffs. Ball starts at the 20 yard line. On punts, all players will kneel besides a punter and two players to return. Where the ball is stopped, the ball will be placed. No coaches on the field. 130 lbs for ball carrier limit.

11U – All live kicks (including punts). No coaches on the field. 140 lbs ball carrier limit.

12U – All live kicks (including punts). No weight limit. No coaches on the field.
